Trish Rasmus is the Chief Executive Officer of Gastro Care Partners, bringing more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience. She began her career as a Radiation Therapist in the U.K. and Australia, providing direct patient care before moving into operational and executive leadership roles. This foundation shaped her patient-centered approach to leadership, ensuring that clinical quality and patient experience remain at the core of organizational growth.

Trish spent over 20 years with GenesisCare, serving in roles from Practice Operations Manager to Chief Operating Officer for the U.S. business. In these positions, she led large-scale clinical operations across oncology, urology, pharmacy, and diagnostic imaging, driving improvements in service quality, physician alignment, and access to care across hundreds of locations.

At GCP, Trish is focused on advancing clinical excellence, supporting physicians, and leading the organization’s continued growth as a trusted partner in gastroenterology care.

Scott Sheehan is a seasoned finance executive with more than 15 years of global experience across healthcare, FMCG, and professional services. He has held senior finance leadership roles at GenesisCare, a leading international provider of radiation oncology services, and at Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company. Scott began his career as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, where he developed a strong foundation in financial management and strategic advisory.

Throughout his career, Scott has built and led high-performing teams, enhanced operational efficiency, and guided organizations through complex integrations, divestitures, and large-scale transformation initiatives. At Gastro Care Partners, he oversees all financial strategy and operations, ensuring the company is positioned for sustainable growth and long-term success.

Victoria Ellison serves as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management at Gastro Care Partners where she leads enterprise-wide strategies to optimize financial performance, enhance patient experience, and ensure regulatory compliance across all revenue operations. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare finance and operations, she brings a deep understanding of revenue integrity, payer relations, and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Gastro Care Partners in July 2025, Victoria held senior leadership roles at WellStreet Urgent Care and Cancer Treatment Centers of America where she oversaw multi-site RCM integrations during mergers and guided cross-functional teams through complex EMR conversions. Known for her collaborative leadership style, she has built and mentored high-performing teams of over 250 professionals and is recognized for aligning financial goals with quality patient outcomes. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Bree Smith serves as Vice President of Operations at Gastro Care Partners, where she oversees multi-state healthcare operations with a focus on physician partnerships, process improvement, and patient-centered care. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across healthcare and military service, including executive roles in ophthalmology and gastroenterology practice management.

Bree holds dual master’s degrees in business administration and healthcare administration. Earlier in her career, she served with distinction in the United States Air Force, earning multiple commendations for leadership and performance. At GCP, she is dedicated to advancing operational excellence, fostering provider collaboration, and supporting teams in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Outside of work, Bree enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling with her husband of 25 years and their two college-aged children.

Dr. Krishnan is an accomplished gastroenterologist specializing in interventional endoscopy, inflammatory bowel diseases, and hepatopancreaticobiliary diseases. A Clinical Professor at three institutions, he teaches students and residents.

Dr. Krishnan has a proven track record of leading highly effective teams and scaling organizations. His clinical and business acumen resulted in exceptional patient outcomes and tremendous practice growth, increasing Peak Gastroenterology Associates's (Peak) roster from 4 providers to 43 in 6.5 years. He serves as Chief Medical Officer and Board Member of Gastro Care Partners and Peak. Additionally, he sits on various state and federal boards and advocates for physicians and patients on Capitol Hill to Representatives and Senators.

Bhaktasharan “Buck” Patel, M.D., is the Founder and President of Peak Gastroenterology Associates (Peak) and Chief Research Officer at Gastro Care Partners. Dr Patel has grown Peak into the largest and fastest growing practice in Colorado. He is a Clinical Professor at three institutions, teaching students and residents.

A dynamic leader, Dr. Patel sits on Peer Review Committees, multiple Advisory Boards, a Medical Executive Committee, and various other Boards. He has also served as the Chief of Gastroenterology at UCHealth Memorial.

As Chief Research Officer, he heads medical innovations through clinical trials, giving patients access to tomorrow’s treatments today. His focus is on inflammatory bowel diseases, liver diseases, and interventional endoscopy.
